Max Bocklage is an American composer, writer, actor, singer, pianist, and content creator from Rising Sun, Maryland. Ever since he was little, Max has been obsessed with everything music. Playing piano for over a decade, he got his first cheap Casio keyboard when he was 5, and has been jamming out ever since. His freshman year of high school, he discovered musical theatre, and fell in love with it. A four-time winner of the Maryland Music Educators Association's Young Composer Project, Bocklage composes music in the contemporary classical and musical theatre genres. He is writing his first stage performance, Mark & Mary, a musical comedy-of-errors about marriage. Bocklage also enjoys directing and producing cabarets at NYC's biggest venues, such as Almost Midnight, held at The Green Room 42 on July 26th, 2026, as well at venues such as 54 Below. Heading into college, he built an audience of over 15K dedicated followers across Instagram and TikTok. He makes content about music and theatre humor. He is currently attending the University of Maryland to pursue a Bachelor of Music (B.M.) in Vocal Performance.
